Resilience is defined as the capacity of a person to recover or bounce back immediately after difficult life events. It is your ability to withstand the pressure, stress and pain that life has given you and working your way back up.
Resilience Theory
Every day we encounter different people and different problems. It may be an illness, loss of a loved one, abuse, bullying, job loss, financial instability and even personal difficulties. Despite of it all, we can still wake-up every day and continue with our daily activities. We get to live with it by coping and working through it instead of ignoring them.
Resilience theory is a conceptual framework in psychology that helps understand how some people can bounce back immediately in life after a difficult situations. In this theory, we understand our ability to recognize pain, acknowledge the reasons for it, endure it for a while, deal with it and afterwards, continue with our lives.
There are many variables that is involved in the resilience theory like positivism, good self-esteem, strong coping skills, a sense of coherence, self-efficacy, optimism, strong social resources, adaptability, risk-taking, low fear of failure, determination, perseverance and a high tolerance of uncertainty in life.

1. Accountability
Taking responsibility for your own actions demonstrates accountability. Admitting your fault and accepting the consequences for it means that you are a person who values yourself. Being accountable enables you to boost your confidence and trust on yourself. It feels very liberating to be able to acknowledge and understand the situation and be able to gauge whether your response to the situation may be good or not.

Agility is useful especially in a world like today. Where life passed by quickly and everyone are focused on their jobs or living their daily lives. Agility enables you to be fast and responsive in whatever situation will be thrown in front of you. Thinking fast and rational about a problem will lead to a better chance of preventing it from becoming a bigger one and eventually helps calm down the situation.
3. Attitude
Your attitude whether at work or in your personal life has a great effect on how people will see you. It may be good or bad but it will help you view things in a different perspective, recognizing the negative aspects of the situation. Lastly, your attitude will guide you in focus on the more important things and be able to make good decisions through it.
